The Indie Underground Featuring Nicole Han

Updated: Jul 28, 2022

nicole han is a 19-year-old singer-songwriter from Orange County, California. She fell in love with music at a young age, always singing around the house and auditioning for musical theater productions every year. Nicole has been writing songs since she was about 6 years old— writing was always a way that Nicole found she could best express herself. She spent most of quarantine glued to her keyboard, writing songs every day.

Nicole fell in love with the process of songwriting because it was therapeutic to her throughout her teen years. But, it wasn’t until this past year that Nicole put her music out for the world to listen to. With musical influences ella jane, Maggie Rogers, Olivia Rodrigo, and Lorde among many others, Nicole has a love of intricate lyricism and nostalgic melodies.

Her debut single, “aftertaste,” is an anthem for the youth, wrapped in a sonic hug of electro-pop and singer-songwriter intimacy.
